Ouch, if I was asked why I had bought what I had bought she wouldn't have got anything more out of me other than an evil look and a response along the lines of "because I wanted to".If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
It should... so as usual that is your Tesco either a) being ignorant or b) making up their own rules.
Tesco accept "spend and save" vouchers from other major supermarkets. These are vouchers that say something along the lines of "£6 off your next £30 shop at Sainsburys" (Got one of those to spend by.... *checks voucher* eeek! today!)
do they take any vouchers pampers etc from other stores i got loads in folder that will expires cos i cant use them quick enough lol0 -
Please can someone help me. I bought the baileys on Thurs am when it was £19.19 and my receipt shows this. however, had price check voucher back and this is not included. I bought it for my Nan so will be a chunk out of her pension:o. Also on another shop that day I bought the lurpak but this has come back as n/a. Am really cafuddled now and not sure weather to phone customer services (but don't want to draw attention for all of you) or if i was to take it to store what do I have to say for them to take it back?:( xx
I bought 2 bottles of Baileys (Original Irish Cream 1 Litre) at £19.19 on Thursday 17th at 14:05, nothing else on the receipt. Got my voucher at 10am this morning for £36.76.
Did you do non-DTD shopping on the same receipt? It works out the overall total so that may have wiped out your DTD discount.
If not, looks like an error has been made. I would give them a call and say you checked it on the price checker website before you went shopping. They should sort it out it for you. I think there's been plenty of attention drawn already so don't worry about that.0 -

Fraudulent? Did you pay for the original order? Yes. Did you buy items deliberately? I guess people purchase items deliberately. Did Tesco reward you with a voucher for shopping there? Yes. So tell them next time to p**s off.
The only fraud committed here is Tesco advertising their prices as lower or equal to ASDA when clearly they aren't - and your voucher is the proof of that."Retail is for suckers"

A little more information that might need mass emails of complaint to chief exec and customer services as I don't think they are playing fair.

Matthew has just informed me that the support team pulled the pricechecker off the site yesterday at 5pm due to the interest of this comparison. It will not be going back on again until it has finished but I did ask if the prices on the website now will be the ones that they use - he replied yes. (hope we can trust him)
