Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on MSE for a while - this is my first post. I was browsing the forums yesterday and came across this thread. I read through this and the other related threads and decided to go buy 4 bottles of the Banrock Chardonnay (all my budget would allow). I waited until the price checker had updated to the 14th before I went to Mr.T and submitted my receipt details about 10 mins after my shop. I'm still waiting for the reply email. If it does work out and the prices hold - can I take my DTD voucher and spend it on 4 more bottles + 2 packets of nappies (so spending a further £7.04 cash) and then submit the details of that shop to get another DTD voucher of £49.92 to spend on food shopping at the weekend? The nappies would get me £6 back in DTD on top of the £43.92 DTD voucher for the first 4 bottles of wine. I'm not buying anything other than DTD 'good' stuff.
I hope I'm working that out right!
Thanks in advance.0 -

Except that, as just posted a few minutes ago, Banrock will now be £5.25 in Tesco from tomorrow, ergo the DTD refund will only be 48p (2 * 24p).
In theory, you would have been right, in practice, they change the prices - not unreasonable, so you have to move quickly, then find another comparable deal - the best source for that is most likely this thread!0 -

If you do this then get in quick - the Banrock Chardonnay is appearing on Tescos website as being half price as of tomorrow! I might stock up tonight (as long as I can confirm Asda still have it at a fiver a bottle).0 -

If you buy it today at 10.49 and tomorrow its changed wouldn't it use yesterday comparsion value only moving forward ie. tomorrow like that....0 -
I've just popped into my local Tesco in Droylsden and they've put the price of the 1 litre Baileys up to £19.19, Asda still have it at £10 so it looks like I've just paid 81p for a bottle.. Bargain!!0
