just a quick one , can the order be done online ,and is it the price , when the order is taken , or when the delivery driver turns up and you sign it , or does it have to be bought instore and then claimed back online
  • Not sure if it has been mentioned on the other pages but Jacobs Creek Shiraz Rose is 8.99 on the tesco price comparison tool and £5 on the asda website and tool. Not free but niceish wine at a very cheap price! Might have to go and do another shop before this offer is cancelled but.........

I logged my receipt at about half nine....don't want to go mad until I know it is going to work ok. How long do they take to confirm?

Also, many thanks to the detectives here. I haven't been shopping at Tescos since I realised just how much more they were charging for the basic stuff but is is nice to have the upper hand with this giant!

Are you sure? Wouldn't it be 1.06x2 = 2.12 back? Meaning you would pay 44p for it (even so, very good ;))

    Yes, edited post, sorry.

  • Hi,
Is the litre bottle of original baileys showing as £19.19 for anyone else on the actual grocery site, on the price checker it is showing as £16.47.
Just wondering how this would affect the DTD??
    Thanks
  • Has anyone has an email back since 9am yesterday? I submitted mine then an nothing back yet? 26 hours.........lol

Not sure if posted already, tesco shopping onine shows Banrock going down to £5 something tomorrow, only showed the white on line.

Interesting - I checked it last night, and again this morning, when it said prices checked on 14th March, i.e. yesterday. Still intact, but because I'm paranoid, I printed a hard copy of the price-checker reading with the Tesco price and the Asda price, with the date.

Still to hear from my friends at Tesco, but have the evidence for now...

[Edit - still showing up OK on the pricechecker. It will be £5.24 (half price) from tomorrow in Tesco, so effectively the deal disappears after today, if you can find it in stock, as it's already too late for online shopping)

Maybe the way this will work going forward is that the deals will be closed each Wednesday, as Tesco bring down the prices of the products that are costing them the most - i.e. the best deals. Still leaves scope for new finds the following week, which would then not be closed until the following Wednesday.

All subject to the maximum £100 per month - was there an answer to the question as to whether this is a calendar month or a month from first DTD submission?

I got the same Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur 1 Litre - Tesco 16.47, asda 10. DTD is 12.94 so costs you £3.85!
