Hi need some help!
On friday I bought baileys along with other items & realised asda had increaed their price to £15 so returned the baileys for refund which I was given in cash. Then submitted my receipt tor DTD which has now been honoured in full! They have not taken into account the refunded baileys. Now if I submit my receipt along with voucher the cashier will see the refund for the baileys.
Should I call them to rectify their error or let customer service know when I do my shopping? As I'm sure I'll be embarrassed when cashier notices!
Edit: Should have said they have honoured the difference of £9.19 so wished I kept the baileys after all.0 -

Fantastic - thanks! Though it sounds like Baileys doesn't work anymore so I don't want to risk it!!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0

I have not done this yet, but plan to nip to Tesco for a shop later this evening. I am not concerned about exploiting Tesco - I think they are big enough to handle it lol!!! At the end of the day they will have had a whole team of brains on this promotion calculating the impact of the promotion on sales and profits. There obviously will be a much higher proportion of shoppers coming in through the door, or regular shoppers making smaller savings compared to more savvy shoppers who are basically just going in for a deal. The number crunchers will have figured out that in the end they will be making more money attracting higher foot traffic and the small loss they make on the savvy shoppers will be a minor blip to them. If they weren't making money they would not be doing it!! So, somehow I don't think they will be laying staff off and closing stores due to this promotion!!! Plus, as savvyshopper said - we are all handing over our money in the first place right? As for waste, I have to agree with that and I would never buy anything I could not make use of, give as a gift, donate as raffle prizes etc. Long live this promotion & thanks to everyone for posting the tips.0

Hiya i dont work for tesco before anybody has a go but honestly do you think this is right?
I am all for people buying what they need to to abuse the price checker i dont feel is right, there will be more waste for starters people in other countries japan for instance have nothing yet heres us buying for sake of it .
i know i will get laughed off this thread but i honestly feel people are taking advantage of this, also this thread alone has'nt cost tesco £100's but £1000's in this day and age were cuts are all around us think of the staff they could have to cut if this carries on, it will soon add up if people carry on buying just for vouchers back
sorry if offeneded anybody but i just feel its gone to far
Your joking arnt you. Staff cut backs ?? this will not dent tescos billions of pounds proffit made every year. They have been exploiting US the customer for a long time now with prices that are more expensive then their rivals especially on fuel.
If it was a small ethical company i perhaps wouldnt exploit but such a large dominant compant like tescos who move their registered head office to exploit tax loop holes, no i have no sympathy."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
