Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

my view is that tesco exploit us by charging such high prices (which they obv r because of the amount of profit they are makin), aside that if asda can do an item at x price why is tesco sometime double the price of asda, they must be buying them in at similar prices! so why shouldnt we take advantage of tesco when they are actually being useful?

the daz showed at asda 13.29 so i should of had 6.10 bk??
pantene 2.00 not 3 as shown above
and the max in 1 turned up n/a i saw for 3.90?

the Pantene that is £2 is the ice-shine the aqua is £3 at asda.

I see what you are saying but in all honesty our shopping habits are not going to cause any damage to Tesco. It was probably the savvy shopper who stopped buying their groceries from Tesco that has made them start this promotion in the first place.

Tesco have made such a big claim that they are cheaper than Asda and have promised a DTD, I cannot see that people are doing anything wrong here. It's like saying Pepsi is on BOGOF but you should only buy 1 or 2. There are shops who restrict certain BOGOFs like Netto often do but Tesco have not put any restrictions on this other than the £100 per limit per household every month but even that isn't clear if they mean £100 shop or £100 DTD.

I wouldn't worry too much about other people and their shopping if I was you, I don't mean to sound rude but it really is none of yours or anyone elses business. If Tesco has a problem with it they will soon stop it or sort it out and people will move on to the next bargain.

Was wondering this myself. I really don't want to risk it and would rather wait until the checker is up and running again. Tesco bound to say they can't prove what the ASDA prices were on day of purchase without the checker IMO.

hi was just wondering for the people that did the shop yesterday and got vouchers today what time you did your shop as then we should be pretty safe doing shop as long as we go before the site is updated again.
