Why isn't it right? I cannot see why if Tesco are so sure they are cheaper than Asda they should put a limit on it anyway. They obv are not that confident of their promise or it would be unlimited no of claims and amount.
Do you really think the few hundred quid people are getting back in vouchers from Tesco is going to make a difference to them? It may howwever make a diff to the people who are buying the stuff and sure brightens the day and makes people forget about their probs for a while. Chill out and let everyone play the game how they want to and if some get more than others, lucky them;)
I can't. Too much Banrock Station Reserve has caused irreversible side effects to my personality.0 -
I think enigma should still work, but just the chocolate or strawberry version, not caramel0

I agree, I don't consider that to be abuse at all. But I think the point the OP was making in his example is that the £100 limit is being exceeded there and that was the 'abuse' being referred to?. Of course it personal choice whether you stick to the limit, as always people should do whatever they are comfortable with.
flyingfresian, be careful with the lurpak as when I got it earlier this week it was 2 for £4 in T's so you had to only pick up one at a time.
millymolly- the only cornetto enigmas I remember seeing on the pricechecker this week were chocolate ones and raspberry ones, did you maybe lift a different cornetto product? I got DTD this morning on the raspberry ones this morning.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
If people can post any N/F items that will help with the checker website being down, my only dtd shop was Thurs and all mine were found.0

So, I took a friend to get some stuff and took my own trolley round to pick up some odds and ends too. We both went to the same till as one was opened up just as we approached and I went through first...
Cashier "Oh, this cheese is on BOGOF, I'll just check" BEEP "Yep, I'll get someone to grab another"
Me "Oh, no thanks, I wouldn't use it, I don't want it"
Puzzled cashier "But you may as well have it"
Me "Nonono, I hate waste, I DON'T want it thankyou"
Cashier "Ok... well I'll leave it on your receipt so you can grab one if you change your mind" beeep beep beep...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Me: NO! Take it off please" (panic panic)
Cashier: "but..."
Me: NO, TAKE IT OFF PLEASE!:eek::eek:
Cashier: "Ok...." despairing look
She did the rest of my shopping and didn't mention the Pringles or Air freshener BOGOFs, lol.
Then my friend's stuff starts going through
Cashier "Those Comforts have the bigger bottles on BOGOF, I'll get someone to swap them for you"
Friend: No, don't worry, one's for me and one's for my Mum"
Cashier "Lol there's no helping you two"
Us: LOL, thanks for trying
Luckily we were able to pull it off where everybody ended up laughing although I think the till lady just thought we were completely mad, especially if she thought about it afterwards and realised that even if one Comfort was for friend and one for Mum it still would have made sense to have the bigger ones on the BOGOF offer, lol.
I couldn't understand how the cashier hadn't had issue with my friend's cheese until we got outside and my friend asked if I had spotted her practically throw the cheese across the store while the cashier was busy being confused over why I didn't want the free one!

Dont buy this one as its been reported several times that it is no longer being compared, ie N/F - better to buy in Asda for £1.
I bought it on thursday and got DTD through this morn.0
