yes and i would probably use it sooner rather than later before the staff wise up to the £100 max voucher
having said that you could argue tesco shouldn't have issued it if it was against the T&C

if it was your first and only voucher I'd risk it and try to argue, tesco has issued it and didn't cut it off by 100GBP so ask them if they can give you a gift card for the remaining amount to use next month then? or call HO to ask how to resolve it... but try instore first, 80% it would be no problem imo
  • Hi shoppers just though All tesco's offers buy one and get one free should be checked with asda.
Not got time to do it now as off shopping with the lists posted.
    thank you all:j

Ooh and I realised that I bought the dish drainer yesterday, and left it in the trolley! I put it in the front of it and must have missed it being the same colour and material as the trolley. Hopefully it will have been handed in but cannot get through to the store

  • I'll not bother quoting the rest as I've reported your post. You can disagree with someone without resorting to the level you just did.

And littlemisstesco, offers like this will inevitably always bring out the greedy side of some people. But you must remember Tesco have launched and heavily promoted this offer, and encouraged people to shop with them by claiming to be cheaper. They have also allowed each household to claim up to £100 in DTD each calendar month so based on that one shop you saw you cannot say she was doing anything wrong. Have a read through this thread and take advantage for yourself - stick to the rules and you can enjoy free groceries guilt free:D

Then please tell me, what did I do that was so wrong?
    Why are you reporting me?

Does anyone know if there are any washing powder tablets I could buy and get DTD back on? It's about the only thing I need to buy today but they're so bl**dy expensive!

Any margarine/bread offers would be lovely too - will be heading to T's in half an hour...so no pressure!!

    I think Lurpak 500g (T:£2.80, A: £1.50) and Fairy Allin One lemon tabs.(£7.65, £4.09)
  • I have used this offer and have felt bad thinking how it will affect Tesco profits and therefore staff working but then someone reminded me that Tesco is not thinking about how this may affect other supermarket staff by luring all customers away from them. I like to shop in Morrison but have not been anywhere near it since this started that's because i have gone for the roll over bargains but have done a weekly shop there as well so overall Tesco have gained form me whereas Morrisons have lost my custom. I have not been greedy just some small shops on crisps and chocs for the kids that I could not have really afforded in my grocery budget
    New to comping 11/2/2013

Feb wins to date: 0lympic messenger bag, £100

  • Don't get me wrong, I love this promotion, but there are plenty who seem to think it's OK to spend, say £70, claim a voucher for £70 and repeat the same shopping trip ad infinitum. That's not right.

For all of those who consider buying things deliberately for the large DTD to be abuse - Tesco have been aware for days of the hugely overpriced items they are selling. Think Baileys - double Asda price - Banrock wine - again double Asda price. If Tesco were to argue that we deliberately bought these items in the full knowledge of the large price difference - then by definition they were also aware of the large difference in prices but continued to falsely advertise that they are cheaper than Asda - in the full knowledge that not all products are cheaper.

To me it's almost like a game - Tesco versus me!! I want their profit margins to be as reduced as possible as a result of large DTD claims - after all if they reduced their prices to match or better Asda then they would truthfully be saying they are cheaper and not just relying on the public to assume they are cheaper just because they say so!!

If Tesco really don't want people to take advantage of the DTD all they have to do is reduce their prices to match or better Asda - you can't say they haven't been able to see which items are grossly overpriced in their stores by now!!!

I think 'Little Miss Tesco''s carefully calculated post has had the desired effect - divide and conquer. Please let's get back to thoughts on how we can get vouchers out of Tesco and show them for the company they are, the rest is basically meaningless in relation to this thread....

I have to say I agree with this we don't want this thread closed like the Boots one last year,.

Just had my receipt and the Enigma cones were N/F on mine think I might have bought the wrong ones I bought the choc and caramel, not bothered though still got a voucher for £42:j
Starting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

I would love to know how profits have been affected by this scheme. Just because I'm nosy really. :D
