The difference between now and back then (when she used to total up her shopping to the last penny in fraudulent vouchers) is that back then she actually used to buy things she needed, now she is obsessed with the fact she can get free bottles of Baileys and tubs of Lurpak. I love a bargain myself and am quite tempted to put the odd dtd item in my trolley when doing my big shop but the greed of some people is sure to spoil this for others pretty soon.
how do you know they were fraudulant?? and no I dont think what we are doing os wrong...tesco are claiming their prices are cheaper than asda when in fact in many cases they arent so they are making false claims and deceiving customers...and anyway why are you scrutinising your customers shopping habits?? who made you the tesco police?? If anyone is frauding tesco then its up to head office to stop them not customer service staff0 -

These two scenarios are not comparable. I am not sure why as a shop floor worker you would be worried by this. It won't affect your 10% staff discount, the vouchers you get at Christmas, or your dividend on shares.0 -

There is a name for people like you ,but I do not want to lower myself to your level.
I do suggest 2 things for you to do
1. Quit your pocksy job, because you obviously cannot handel it.
2. Get your @$$ off of this forum!
Sorry, but that response is utterly uncalled for. You may not agree with her post (neither do I), but that is no way to respond!0 -

In your shoes I would just do what I am paid to 'provide customer service' if your employer tesco have brought in this incentive scheme with T&Cs they are happy with why should you feel the need to dispute this with the customer. They are trying to get more people to shop there not less.0 -
Does anybody think the La Gioiosa wine will still work DTD?0

,just checked some bits on my receipt from wednesday that i got dtd for &
after eights
finest rack of lamb
pringles (only buy 1)
kellogs variety pack
iams adult small dog food 3kg
cornetto enigma
pantene ice shampoo 500ml
pantene ice conditioner 400ml
vicks first defence nasal spray
bounty milk chocolate 5 pack (only buy 1)
are all still working with great dtd (according to checking prices on tesco & asda's websites) & vicks first defence, afer eights & cornetto enigma you actually make a profit on
although i'm not sure if tesco's are price checking against these now as the checker is downwhat do people think?

ME evil? Surely I am entitled to my opinion which would be the same if I worked for Tesco or not. I am just saying that some people are excessively greedy when it comes to something like this therefore spoiling it for other people. Sorry if I have hit a raw nerve but that is not my fault is it?0 -

Nope if Tesco is going to make this offer and run it this way then they deserve all thats coming, not like they can't afford it with their £3.4BN profit last year.
Agree that some are going to spoil it but that's just the nature of the beast no good bleating on about it (no offence)
Perhaps instead of greed you could replace that with desperation, £1.40/litre fuel, electricity prices going sky high again followed by gas, services cut, bus subsidy gone (along with the bus) incurance going through the roof, food costs going mad (£4 for 24 pack of crisps I saw in Tesco yesterday as an example, I know you don't need to buy them!).
People are hurting and cutting luxuries like wine/baileys, crisps etc so when something like this happens and you can get them for almost nothing what do you think is going to happen.
There's a real simple way to stop this happening, make damn sure your prices are as low as Asda instead of hiding behind BOGOFs B2G1F etc.
I suggest that £19.19 for 1L of baileys was a rip off in the first place and they had it coming to be honest with you.0 -
