Hula Hoops 7 packs are £1.59 in Tesco & £1.00 in Asda.

There are also quite a few chocolate multipacks that are a good buy but some are on offer, so take a close look.

I just ordered these, and did a seperate order for the rest of our shopping. Couldn't get delivery until Wednesday morning so will check prices again late tomorrow night, if they've changed then I can just cancel the order. Tesco delivery man is going to be very confused delivering 2 different orders, from 2 different accounts, to the same address within the same time slot :D I remembered I had a code for free delivery which I got after complaining about lack of bags ages ago, so doing 2 seperate orders didn't cost me any more.

Should hopefully work out to be £36.54 back.

Item Tesco Price Asda Price Difference x2 Quantity

    Cheerios 2.99 1.68 1.31 2.62 1
    Mullerlight 6 Pack 2.96 1.5 1.46 2.92 1
    Always Ultra Night 1.99 1 0.99 1.98 1
    Malt Wheats 1.19 1 0.19 0.38 1
    Cravendale 1.68 1.5 0.18 0.36 1
    Banrock Chardonnay 10.49 5 5.49 10.98 1
    Birds Eye Veg Mix 1.75 1 0.75 1.5 1
    Kelloggs Variety Pack 1.99 1 0.99 3.96 2
    Dolmio Lasagne Sauce 1.76 1 0.76 3.04 2
    Pringles 1.99 1 0.99 1.98 1
    Ambrosia Low fat rice pudding 0.64 0.5 0.14 1.12 4
    After Eights 3.05 1.5 1.55 3.1 1
    Lurpak Spreadable 2.8 1.5 1.3 2.6 1

ETA: Ooops my table didn't come out very well!!
    Grocery Challenge £5.43/£320.00
Don't Throw Food Away Challenge £0.00/£5.00
  • Nestle After Eights Dark Choc Mints 300g Tesco £3..05 Asda £1.50
  • So...the magic question is...do I go now or in the morning? Do you people think they will be shutting this down ASAP or will I have to price check all over again in the morning?

And does anyone know if they keep the petrol pumps open 24 hrs as I will need some if I go or I could well get stranded (did my 20 mile return trip from uni today with the light on the whole time!)

i never mentioned buying this in large quantities.

technically, it still is the best DTD deal so far - which is what i was pointing out. no harm in having 1 pack in the house, especially when you're paid to take it home. mouth ulcers can be a pain in the proverbials!

p.s. i agree with regards to batteries in the household.

    Bonjela complete plus.
    £8.14 @ Tesco
    £3.00 @ Asda

Dtd £10.28. They would be paying you £2.14 to take it.

Price change as of 15/03 says on website Tesco price will be
£6.14 still a good deal profit of 14p

Great deal have you had it price checked yet as cant see this type on their price checker so worried they wont honour it.
