For the person that asked if you can use the voucher at Tesco Direct: - I just cashed in a £98 voucher for items at Tesco Direct without any problems, the guy just checked it out with his supervisor and then took it off my bill :)

I've done my two shops today, then came on here to see if I'd missed anything. I've spent the last hour falling about laughing. :rotfl::rotfl:There is such a sense of fun and community on here, (apart from the odd miserable g*t!) Keep up the good work.
Has anyone had a problem redeeming a voucher because of the time difference between the voucher and the receipt?

people have had problems with the time issue, a simple explanation of 12/24 hour clock should do it.

The only difference is that the voucher uses the 12 hour clock and the other receipt the 24 hour, can't see anyone in store even noticing this.

One jobsworth did in a different store than I usually use. Refused to take it because of the difference in the times, despite me explaining the 12hr/24hr clock thing, and that all receipts/vouchers were the same. Needless to say I left my trolley!

After being refused yesterday, managed to use my voucher today, but staff still had not got a clue and had to wait again to get it sorted. They really need to get their act together.

Did they write all over your voucher?

Thanks...but no products come up when you type them in. Even things like bread and milk!

I had same thing yesterday but managed to spend it today. I did call head office and complain they said that all stores should be aware of the issue with the time and that as long as the receipt number matches its fine.

I think its absolutely ridiculous that the staff claim to know nothing about it, what about the people that actually put the signs and promotional bits throughout the store? and you can't tell me that in al this time they havn't seen one TV advert!
