I was just thinking to myself
Some of you may know I cannot stand Tesco, I just find it a very cold supermarket as in the staff and decor.
So I did my first shop in Tesco today for about 2 or 3 months. But not only did I take advantage of the DTD I also did a 'normal' shop too. Normal as in same price as Asda or cheaper than Asda.
My DTD shop was £28
My normal shop was £26
Had it not been for this deal Tesco would not have got any money from me. Yes they are losing but they are also gaining. My DTD voucher should be around £24, I know I am doing well out of it. But so are Tesco! They have got me shopping in there store again, taking my hard earned cash!
I agree, I don't feel like I'm 'ripping them off' at all - far from it. I too would never usually set foot in Mr T - I love Mr A
Mr T has had more of my money this week than they would ever get from me in a year and to make it better for them, I haven't been in Mr A for over 5 days and I usually go once a day as it's so near.
Win/win for Mr T in my book and one in the eye for Mr A..0 -

I saw this yesterday, as our cat needs a flea collar, but after checking the asda and tesco sites the pictures dont match and i dont think the prices where right either. But i first saw it on the tesco price check site but wasn`t willing to risk it.0 -
Ive got a voucher for £80, if i bought a kettle & fryer (which i was going ot anyway) and then some others DTD items on top, would the purchase of my fryer & kettle make any difference to the total DTD received?
I've not seen anyone else answer this, so thought I'd try
As I understand, you shouldn't get non DTD items with your shopping, as it will reduce the value of the voucher you get back.
So use the voucher to buy the kettle & fryer and other stuff you need which is not cheaper at asda. And then put another basket/trolley through with stuff which is cheaper at asda, & on the pricechecker. Or the other way round, but don't mix 'normal' shopping with this0 -
