What weight was this, always useful to know £/kg with produce even after DTD

Its the small packs they are different weights. Just look out for the tesco beef rump steak small packs label there usually below the bigger packs of steak. I got three last night.
  • Look at how many people are buying bottles of wine at £10 each too. Fair enough you effectively get them free as they give you a voucher for the same price, BUT that same wine is often on 3 for a tenner and they make money on it at that price and they are forcing you to spend the 10 quid a bottle they give you back in their store!

Tesco ain't as daft as you think with this one I can assure you.

I was just thinking to myself

Some of you may know I cannot stand Tesco, I just find it a very cold supermarket as in the staff and decor.

So I did my first shop in Tesco today for about 2 or 3 months. But not only did I take advantage of the DTD I also did a 'normal' shop too. Normal as in same price as Asda or cheaper than Asda.

    My DTD shop was £28
    My normal shop was £26

Had it not been for this deal Tesco would not have got any money from me. Yes they are losing but they are also gaining. My DTD voucher should be around £24, I know I am doing well out of it. But so are Tesco! They have got me shopping in there store again, taking my hard earned cash!

:rotfl: It's okay having your cash but they won't be making any money.

ps I'm on your side anyway. I hate Tesco.

I said to my husband they aren't stupid. They will be fully aware of the savvy shoppers, there is no question about it. They will have someone following this site and the others out there just in case they've missed something.

Now what I would like to see is Morrisons or Sainsburys getting into the mix and offering the same. Before you know it we will have all the major supermarkets fighting for our custom and we will come out richer! Yaaaaaay! :T

    Ok I can dream! :o

Oh they will be making money, you can be sure of that because the majority of shoppers are not savvy or they don't care about saving money!

This isn't a glitch in their system, this is a promotional offer. Tesco will always come out on top. If this is them coming out on top then I am lovin' it!
