  • new to this how does this work for thickos.

    I have placed an ordinary shop on tesco website. Do I just wait till it gets delivered tommorrow and input the receipt number on here. They then come back with how much the difference is. Then what do they email you a voucher of double the difference. To maximise the money back how are people checking the items against asdas prices before they order the-m to maximise double the difference. Told you I WAS DERR lol

    Grahams Lbv Port 75cl: £12.99 T, £7.00 A ( £11.98 dtd = bottle of port for £1.01)

    Not showing on tesco site for me, so am guessing that just means it's not at my local store - might be useful to someone though.

    Just to let you know just tried to buy the wolf blass yellow label cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay, both showing as £6 on asda and £9.49 and tesco grocery and price checker websites(checked prices in car park before going in to Mr T)and the SEL in Tesco stated £9.49, however both were scanning at £6.99. Managed to cancel both transactions before they went through.
    Just wanted to remind people to also check prices at checkout as well and not to just take the info on tesco and asda websites as a guarantee
  • Just used my first voucher in store....they had no idea what to do with it and 2 other members of staff were called over, and then the store manager! The manager was very suspicious and made me show him the e-mail on my phone (he said they had 3 different versions of the voucher in the last few days apparently!) He soon realised it was ok, but didn't stop me being very embarrassed and feeling slightly guilty, even though I didn't do anything wrong!! This is such a good deal, but very stressful!!

    if you want a bargain take some time to read the thread
    sorry for my impatience:mad: ive had a bad day

    if newbies keep asking the same questions over and over again it makes the thread much longer for everyone including you therefore much harder to read!!!!

    Hi, think I have worked this out right, could someone please confirm

    HEIDSEICK DRY MONOPOLE CHAMPAGNE T £28.99 A £19.00

    6 bottles

    T £173.94 - 5% (£8.70) = £165.24
    A £114.00
    Difference = £59.94 x 2 = £119.88

    £165.24 - £119.88 = £45.36

    therefore £7.56 for a bottle of Champagne :beer:

    Just used my first voucher after work tonight from Sunday. The total cost of my shop on Sunday was £110 and I got £81.30 back in vouchers. I used my £81.30 voucher tonight and it was no problem at all. The girl on the till said she had to ask for the supervisor. He came over and said, "Yes, that's fine," and that was it. My shopping tonight should have come to over £97 but with the voucher from Sunday, I only had to pay £16.25. Hope that helps other shoppers! And also thank you to all the other shoppers who have helped with advice, deals etc. I have noticed there are people coming on this forum who are quick to give out their "advice", but haven't even done a shop themselves :D
