Hi, sorry, i was buying the banrock reserve chardonnay (being paid 50p to take it off their hands was no hassle :p) but i hear this offer is no longer in use, could anybody advise on the best white wines - possibly even ones that do allow you to be paid to drink or drink for free! :D all the girls are LOVING this!

So just been looking through the thread at the prices updated today, and ive noticed a lot of red wine, but no so much white!

how does that work then as the packs are barcode labelled up at a certain price (calculated on the weight x the price per kilo). Which would show up on your receipt simply as, say, £7.50.

How does the price check thing know that the actual pack price barcode is a multiplication of a per kilo price rather than just a set price per pack....?
i bought 2 of these yesterday & they work it out on the price difference per kilo as i'm guessing they have more details than are on your receipt for your order :)
mine was £16.35 for the 2 packs i bought & they worked it out that it would cost £8.48 at asda so £7.87 difference = £15.74 DTD so cost me 61p for 2 packs of finest trimmed rack of lamb :j

I know that the pricechecker is matching the Isla Negra, but the Asda website doesn't say it is a Reserve? Is it the same wine.

In fact I'd go so far as to say it isn't the same wine, as the labels are different from tesco wine site and asda.com.

    Is this going to work?

Cadbury cream eggs egg and buttons - (all the ones in the buy one get two free basically) is now £2.50 T £1.00 A

because you get 3 for £2.50 tesco checks them as a price of 84p each so 84p v £1 = tesco cheaper and no dtd voucher
