I didnt say i didnt like it did i ? Im not disputing its a good deal am i ? Im just saying the wording of tesco is a bit misrepresentative. Contrary to your post i have done a DTD shop and am awaiting my email. I just wont be going mad thinking ive saved £2 for example when ive really just saved a £1.

Some things you actually get for less than nothing! What's not to like? Personally I can't stand Tesco so am more than happy to take free stuff off them. No idea what there is to moan about here, TBH...:D

What are you snivelling about then? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You have already done it!!!! :D:D:D
  • Hiya new to this thread. I read the first page but not too familiar with the current offer tesco's are doing. Is it dtd on any of these items that are coming up as more? Am I right in saying the baileys £19.19 mr t £10 Mr A diff 9.19 means you will get £18.38 back?
  • For us, we spend £50 at Tesco every week. I'm conditioned to shop for the bargains and stock up on certain things when they become available. I find Tesco to be the cheapest for the way I shop. Many of their deals tend to be on things I want, and are better deals than at Asda in my opinion.

So I went in and spent £50 on goods that were priced about double that of Asda that I knew we could use - olive oil, Baileys, etc. So I get that stuff and a £50 voucher, which I'll use towards the normal shop. So I've got £25s worth of free stuff (at Asda prices). They are not things I would have normally bought, obviously. I would have been mortified if my shopping money only went as far as the £50 I spent earlier this week.

So for the people that get £100 worth of vouchers this month, if they work it properly then they could have also acquired themselves goods that would cost £50 at Asda. It's not bad at all. They are giving away free stuff effectively, and a lot of it!

Personally, I won't be going over the £100 per month. I am more than happy that Tesco are prepared to give me £50 worth of goods by having massively inflated prices on a few things, and that they are prepared to give me money to take them off their hands. The more people that fiddle it, the quicker it will be over.
Thankyou - im glad you get what i mean. You spent £50 on your shop and got £25 worth of free stuff (via your £50 DTD voucher) So you got £25 free. Like i said its a good deal,

    Yep

But make sure anything that is more in T appears on T and A's own sites and are showing on T's pricechecker. If anything shows up as N/F in A column T won't compare.

Only providing the prices don't change at either Asda or Tesco between now and you fetching it. Go, go go!!!

  • Different - one is Hardys Stamp and one is Hardys Crest - both show on the price checker and the one you linked to is £4.99 on there. If this came off it would be great!
