New wifi router and kindle won't connect

Your first post implies you've changed keys on your gadge-heap/fest to match the new router rather than change the new router to your old password. Only other thing I can think of is the Kindle only supports A-Z, a-z, 0-9 (no hyphens, underscores etc).0

Possibly a stupid question but have you turned WiFi on on the Kindle?0

Not stupid but yes I have and it finds the router - just won't let me connect. It does let me know if I put in the wrong password as well.Noli nothis permittere te terere

This is plain mad....
All I can suggest is a quick retry with the old router just to make sure the Kindle hasn't failed somehow since you last used it. Plus maybe with another router if you know someone who'll let you try it on theirs.0 -
Yup - I tried it today at work and it connected fine. - Awaiting an answer from Amazon now.Noli nothis permittere te terere

Easier than cracking the key is getting into their wireless settings via your own computer and viewing the key from there. Most would tell you that you need the key to view the wireless settings, but if you know the type of router they use, you can get in.
However, that's quite illegal, so I won't tell you how to do it.0
