I have the free AVG program and am getting messages whenever I log in that it will cease to be free from January, so it doesn't seem to be worth signing up for.0

Well - you guys have got me thoroughly confused now.
Where are stickies.
Is AVG free or not?

I've had Zone Alarm and AntiVir together for years. There was a temporary compatibility issue quite a while back with a new ZA version, so I reverted on that for a bit. Other than that, no problem at all.
There is a facility in ZA to switch off anti-virus monitoring, so perhaps AVG users could try that if they have problems. But it doesn't seem to apply in ZA free anyway.
That might explain why my Zone Alarm anti virus is not happy. AVG must be top dog on my computer.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I know as if it wasn't relevant to the thread. another :bdaycake: for Rikki and for OP I'll say that I use McAfee Enterprise for free as it is licensed by the university I'm still registered with. So it may be worth checking anti-virus software policies with your workplace or university. There can't delete that for being irrelevant. Get keep the cake and eat it too as it were"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
