older o2 sim texting from abroad

i know o2 dont do the texting from abroad tariff which was 4x texts for each text sent to uk from abroad, did any other networks ever used to do the same kind of tariff, i'm hoping i might have an older sim stuffed in a drawer some where
and also can anyone remember the tariff on o2 which was top up £10 and get 100 units which was 100 mins or 100 texts, what would be the allowance if £30 was topped up at the sim, i'm hoping this sim will work abroad with the older system 4x texts etc.... anyone know if this will still work

o2 time expire some of there sims, I had some sat in a drawer to use, and when I got around to using them they would not let me connect, just said unregistered sim.

I guess they do it so they can reclaim PAYG numbers from unused sims so your probably out of luck..

I also know they pulled the bit where UK MMS's were 4x a text and came out of your allowance, so the texting abroad has probably gone too as they want the money from your useage.

the 100 units sim i have is still an active sim , i'm hoping it will work abroad regarding the texts etc....

Just log into My O2 to see what allowance you get at each Top-up level.

That tariff is called Talkalot, O2 ring me from time to time offering me crappy handsets in an effort to get me off that tariff.

100 mins or 100 text messages, you don't get any extra if you top up more than the minimum (£10) amount

So long as you have been topping it up with £10 every 30 days then the SIM will still be live.
