help!tax credits have paid my ctc into an overdrawn account

Worth a try but seein as it's the weekend I don't know if they would be able to do anything until Monday.
Incapacity is payable if you have made enough contributions and you qualify, even if a partner is working.One day I might be more organised...........

My oh was on a low wage, we have 3 children. I currently claim incapacity benefit, receive child benefit and the ctc 'top up' our income to give a minimum amount that the government say a family in our situation needs to live. I always contact the ctc people if there is a change in my circumstances.
For example, he has just ( 4/12/06) started a new job, he has had a pay increase of 8,500 per year, so the childs tax credit ppl have adjusted the claim accordingly. They have significantly changed the way the tax credits have been done, i for one can honestly say i am very grateful to the labour government for the invention of ctc. It has certainly improved our standard of living when times were hard. But i do know what you mean, that is the way it used to be, but thankfully no more. hope this helps0
