Tesco Mobile 5p Per Text...

T-Mobile will let you change to 'Text Appeal' if you call up.
It has texts at 3p per shot, However, the call prices might not be so good.
Check the T-Mobile website for details.
I think Tesco is 15p or 10p minute depending on your tariff, which is very competitive on Pay as You go.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I am on the standard Tesco payg and the prices are 10p per text and 20p per minute calling - but for 3 numbers that you nominate the texts are 5p and calls 10p per minute...and if I remember rightly they were giving you £5 if you ported your old number (but that might be out of date now)0 -
With an o2 genie card you get 300 free texts if you have topped up £10 the previous month:j Midmac Aka Crazy baby :j0

It's 15p on the Value tariff or 10p on the Extra tariff, if your going to top up with £15 per month.
As sprokit says the standard is 20p, but its not so good unless your just going to call 3 numbers most of the time and remember to nominate them.

On T Mobile you can switch between tariffs multiple times during the day:
Text Appeal - 3p per message and Everyone 12p per minute
