I have sent numerous emails and have rung several times

Have you tried writing to them? Generally these sort of outfits expect you to write snail mail for a refund.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
  • I have just come off the phone with Nationwide loans 4 u after not being able to get a loan they promised me. On the phone they said I had been accepted and agreed a re-payment plan but after paying the application fee and completing their forms the loan never materialised. They kept putting me onto door step loans ect... So I've just asked for my money back and was told their applications team will contact me within 2 days. I think after reading these reviews it will be a lot longer!!!!!

I take it you aren't just going to sit back an wait for this refund form to arrive?

Write to them requesting a refund.

As apple says, request the refund by writing to the address in the T&C's.

Everyone in the chain feed off peoples laziness..Amazing..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Instead of getting Mr Plod on the case, have you written for a refund?

Should've done a search first, eh.

30 seconds of your time could have saved you £200. But you couldn't be bothered.

He might want to arrange for someone else to write the letter for him.

Except that I expect that the reason you (and the other "victims") looked for loans on the net and not from a bank is that your credit history is so poor the bank wouldn't touch you with a barge pole.

If the banks say no then take perhaps time to take stock of your lifestyle and consider why you are living beyond your means.
