Where did you buy a 16kg sack?

    I use this

And EVOO or butter for bread making.

I use any SR or plain flour for baking (often Homepride) & butter (oil for some cakes).

Online. The delivery charge is a bit steep but they delivered next day so I couldnt complain. This is the cookie

Makes cracking bread and to me is worth every penny.

I have looked into this many times, but the delivery charge put me off. Now I know that they provide such a good service I think I will give it a go. Certainly works out cheaper in the long run, if you prefer the Doves Farm flour.

It said it would be 2 -3 days I think but came next day. To be honest, you can only get away with premium prices if you sell a premium product.

I have always used Stork tub for most baking, unless proper butter is specifically needed (eg. melted in muffins).

If I could afford it (see below ) I would probably use real butter for everything!

For pastry I use either half butter/half lard (savoury pastry eg sausage rolls) or half butter/half Cookeen.

Both Cookeen and Stork tub have the benefit of not being hydrogenated.

For flour I use any own brand, but prefer Lidls.
