Thanks OP
I bought the face brush a few weeks ago and think it's great. I use it with the passion fruit cleansing gel and my face feels really smooth now.0 -

Just wondering whether it will stop me getting better offers using other codes that can't be used in conjunction with LYB card. Hmmmm...
When I had my card added to my account the last time then sometimes the promotion code box did disappear if I logged in first as it recognised my LYB card. I found if I added items to my basket, then the 20% code and then log in it's fine. You wont be able to use the better codes and the LYB together so I found I didnt fill my card in the year and never got the birthday gift as I didnt shop instore on that month. For that reason I wouldnt pay for another card but will take it if it's free!0 -
im confused, do you have to put a code in to get the lyb card? or is the card added to ur account? do u instantly get the card?0
-
and is the card just for 10% off future purchases? plus free gifts etc0

You have to add the code to get it. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3107314
And the card will give 10% off and if you spend instore they stamp it each time you spend over £10. You get something worth £5 afte the 4th and 8th stamps and a £5 gift on the month of your birthday.0 -
Also gives you the card free on TCB when you put the code in (from codes forum) and I added the £1 shea shower gel. Useful if you don't use Quidco. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

Just wanted to say thank you to the OP. I didn't want to buy another card after mine expired as I find the codes online are often better than instore offers, if its free delivery, so this is perfect. Now I can get a free £5 gift in my birthday month without paying that much for the card in the first place!
I bought the 250ml shea shower gel for £2 (minus 12% Quidco) :j£1 or less - entry to Woburn Safari Park, pair of cargo shorts, men's desert boots, £5 book token, tree peony, 2 x tights, National trust entry (50p for 2) *1 night at Hoxton Hotel*
+ numerous freebies. Thanks MSE :T0 -

D'oh! I ordered this without really thinking what would be better value! Ordered another anyway, be good to have two in the family

In my local Body Shop they will give you a stamp on your card in respect of online purchases if you take your bills in (for purchases over £10), so although you can't use the 10% discount and other online discount codes together, you can benefit from the bigger discounts available online and still collect your stamps throughout the year.
You are allowed £5 against any purchase once you have collected 4 stamps, and I think you are allowed another £10 off after you've received your next 4 stamps. Even if you don't collect the stamps, it is worth it for the £5 that you can spend against any purchase during your birthday month (as far as I know you're not obliged to spend any money over and above the £5). Thanks OP.
I purchased this : http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/product.aspx?ParentCatCode=C_ShopByLine&CatCode=C_ShopByLine_SupportOurCampaigns&prdcode=87654m
and then added the code and the LYB card took the price down to just 90p of which 80 goes to charity so I'm very happy - already got 1 LYB card but I'll do this 1 in my maiden name & its my biorthdya in April -yay!!:D"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0
