Yes - me - mine are aged 27 and 25 and not spoken to them for 3 years, saw them at a family wedding last year where I was totally ignored - apart from the eldest bashing into my shoulder without apology as she barged her way past me.
Can't find out why as they don't answer phone calls, texts, letters or me knocking on the eldest one's door - can't go to see the youngest as I have no address for her.
They have lots of time to stay in touch and go visit their father (my ex) as he is loaded and flashes the cash to them! Charming, really wish I hadn't bothered!
How absolutly awful and sad. I'd do absolutly everything in my power to get back in touch with my children if this happened to me... but then if i saw that my mother had written that she wish she hadn't have bothered than i doubt i'd really want a relationship either.
I don't know the story or the past, but there shouldn't be many reasons for a parent and two children to completly lose contact with each other. Not at the age of 27/25.0 -
I've tried everything I can to get back in touch, I often think about having one more try, but the hurt I feel when I get knocked back again - it's not worth it, there's only so many times you can have a door slammed in your face. How absolutly awful and sad. The reason they choose to ignore me (I think) is because I remarried - and they will have to wait longer for their 'inheritance' - such as it is - I have been asked in the past if I've changed my will yet!
Better off without them I think, however sad it makes me feel. They have also cut contact with every member of the family over the last year, so at least I don't feel singled out now!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

If its any comfort to you all, I was a horrible child and teenager so I'm sure my parents regretted me all the time! But I've grown up OK and they seem to be happy with me now, so maybe it will get better
