LOL- After a little detective work, i see where you are coming from. But then again, we are in it for the profit, so why not?

Rachie, i assume you have been advised to not link to your auctions, i think this is wise advice. ;)

    --- consider me sussed!!

aliasojo.... I just didnt want to link my items as a) they weren't relevant and b) it may give people an idea where I bought the stuff from and give them an idea to copy me to boot!!

Some people have had problems with paypal and have set up these sites, but considering the millions of transactions that happen every week the percentage of problems is very small.

ALso a lot of it is user error, not sending things out trackable for instance.

In total on my ebay ids I have over 1400 positive feedback, and have never ever had a paypal problem. I have had countless problems with postal orders and no longer take them, and many problems with cheques. I do still reluctantly take cheques, but try to push paypal or bank transfers in preference.

BTW Bleugh, I love your sig line :-)

Thanks Rachie, I understand your thoughts. (I still don't get how they would know where you bought your stuff from just by your auctions though.)

I shall remain happy in my ignorance. Lol! :)

I also agree with soolin about Bleugh's sig......very apt. :)

I have vented in the Vent section about spending far too much since joining this flipping website :D Still loving it though.

The reason i give for not broadcasting your eBay username is because every so often you get nasty ppl who try and wreck your auctions. Don't ask me why this is, but some folk on the net can wonderful but very weird.

Also, if someone has your username then they can check your eBaying activities. Not that you'd be buying/selling anything dodgy LMAO, its just like having spyware but not installed on your potter..if you get my meanin :S
