for 4 grand I could buy enough cars to make me look like a drug dealer.
EDIT:
but seriously, I was looking for a usb 3.0 pc and een one on ebay for a mere 900 quid - PC Quad Core i7 950, 24GB, ATI 5450 1gb, USB 3.0
which I was wondering if it was decent value.

I have absolutely no idea about the high-end stuff.
Doesnt look too bad. The graphics card isn't particularly high end tho, can pick them up for about £30! Would you need all that ram as well?Useful is beautiful0 -
also you can get usb3 PCI cards
so dont see it as a major feature if they are adding a premuim
Im more interested in thunderbolt TBH0 -
One of my friends splashed out on an Alienware laptop a few years ago only for it to break down on a regular basis - he ended up feeling like he'd totally wasted more than 3k. I can't imagine ever spending that much money on a computer. I would barely want to spend that much on a car!0

ah but you all forget the Alienware guarantee - buy a computer from them for over £2000 and your epenis will grow by at least 100%
wish I'd have known that before I bought an Emachines...now shrunk 50%We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Damn - you're right, we do pay much more for it in the UK, good reason to boycott Dell!
Hey, I just noticed we pay a lot more for fuel..should I also be boycotting the petrol stations? Can I get a lift...?Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
Rip off Britain
Most items (like for like) are cheaper in the USA than the UK, this is another case in point.
.................
not everything.... try and get ADSL broadband for £6.49 a month or a 3g dongle for £10 a month. I tried for an inlaw in the US and failed miserably!

Windows 7 Home Premium has a physical limit of 16GB for RAM, so the extra 8GB in that is going to be wasted.0 -

They must be rubbish - neither of them has a "free" hat.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0
