Santander seem to have stolen my money. What's going on?

You can make a formal complaint about their failure to notify you of the overdraft's cancellation in a timely manner. Most banks take a dim view of overdrawn accounts that do not see any credits.0

Rather than wait for an e-mail why don't you call them and ask them?0

If the value of this cheque was credited to your account in error then they are within their rights to re-debit it. If you had an extra £1000 appear in your account, you should have questioned it at the time ...... not just spent it.
And why should they have asked you for the cheque number?

I reckon that if they believed that you wouldn't have got an overdraft ever!As far as they knew, I'm an unemployed graduate with no job and no income!!!!!
Nobody could ever accuse me of being a Santander fan, but you need to consider your own part in this debacle.0 -
Honestly, why was there any need for this to be bumped? Couldn't a new thread just have been made?!0
