I have received all issues from 1 to 7 amd I have received a binder. I did receive a note saying something about them running out of stock of the cake slices. My next issues, 8 and 9, should be here with my cake tins on 16th and 30th June according to the subscription form that came with issue 1.

Should be receiving delivery shortly then! :j

Just had a look at their site and saw that they plan to publish 60 issues!

I can't see them having 60 different silicon items with them, I wonder if some will be issued with recipe cards or something like that.

Does it make any difference whether you cook cupcakes in a cupcake baking tray or on a plain baking tray? Do you need a muffin baking tray for muffins or can you cook them on a plain baking tray as well? :o

I don't make cupcakes but found that it is best to use a muffin tray with muffin cases.

They need a bit of support as they spread outwards as they cook without support.

They will rise better if you put cases into a tray.

Don't forget that muffin trays are deeper than cupcake trays, I bought a nice Prestige one from Argos and got the choice of a half price Prestige item with it.

    I wondered that as well.

If you look here, it shows the range of bakeware they may send to subscribers/issue buyers.

Thanks! I see there is a silicone one available on the Argos website. Does it make a difference whether they are in a silicone tray when already in silicone cases? See Lakeland is selling these items as well, wonder which ones are best. I would like to be able to make mini and ordinary size cupcakes and muffins, hence all the questions.
  • £297.40 for 60 issues. Hmmm; I may skip that one.

I prefer the metal tins as I imagine the silicon ones would be wobbly when you lift them out of the oven, think some people put them on a tray to make them easier to lift out.
