"Telewest is introducing network throttling on its "unlimited" Blueyonder broadband product.
News groups and chatrooms have had complaints of bandwidth problems from NTL customers since early November.
NTL/Telewest has now admitted that it is restricting traffic. Effectively the company is introducing "sin bins" for heavy users."

I'm a customer of Telewest and upto now have enjoyed the "truly" unlimited broadband and not the half-baked claims of the other ISP's which have FUP, bandwidth caps, traffic shaping, etc but still claim unlimited.
I have to say, I was expecting this since they joined with NTL as I've never liked NTL's bb due to the many complaints, etc
It looks like us Telewest customers are now (or will be) in the same boat as NTL and the other many ISP's that have limitations of some kind or another.0 -
