Blackberry 8520 Bust 1 month out of warranty
Options
Hi All
I have a blackberry 8520 on orange Pay monthly - 18 month contract.
This week 1 month out of the official warranty its died, keeps crashing, unable to answer calls and keys not working.
Orange claim warranty up, so nothing they can do.
Is there anything under the GOSA that can be used to persuade them to replace the phone?
Cheers for any advice

Even though the warranty has expired. You can still claim from the place you bought the handset. You would have to prove that it was inherently faulty, the retailer should then offer a repair, replacement or (partial ) refund.0

As Techhead states if you can prove its inherantly faulty you have a case, but the SOGA states that if it happens in the first 6 months it's assumeed it's faulty from the factory, after 6 month you have to prove it, so it will be an uphill battle.0
