I Bought an Item, it never turned up...now what??

I rarely comment on this type of post, but I wonder how far the OP has to be pushed before biting back. Stop messing about, give him a negative. I would also take my time filling that form in.0

i say neg them too, if they leave a negative comment you can get it removed by ebay - you've got all the power here not the seller!
The fact that they think they can hold you to ransom over feedback would make me neg them straight away0 -
Thanks again.
Taking on the various advice from the forum ( thanks! ) I fired an e-mail back last night informing the Seller:
I paid for the goods within 15 minutes via Paypal..... gave him enough time to deliver ...... it's his fault he sent an expensive item by normal un-recorded post ( while charging me a high rate!! ), and that eBay / Paypal immeditly found in my favour and refunded my monies with all due speed. Since I believe I've been very fair throughout ,my view is he either gives me positive feedback or I won't complete the RM form I've been sent....and I won't discuss any further unless / until I see the feedback.
Oddly enough...I now have wonderful feedback from his this morning!! Now I'll fill his form in..... and hopefully that's an end to him!!
Thanks again ..... :-)if i had known then what i know now0 -
I hope you don't sell stuff on the same account you bought from him on, or it might not be...mike230652 wrote: »and hopefully that's an end to him!!Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

This happened to me as a seller - your seller has to refund you now. It is his responsibility to put in the RM claim and he will get money back from RM (but not the full amount if he didn't send it by recorded or special - his problem for being stupid!)0

LOL! Yes, I see what you mean! I only very rarely sell on eBay, 99% of my transactions are as a buyer, so I'm not overly concerned about him.
I'll certainly keep a weather eye out though! Thanks for the heads up.if i had known then what i know now0
