Water Meter readings - not!

I will agree with this. I moved into my new house Aug 10. They advised me they came and read the meter just before we moved in, however on lifting the cover the meter was coved in dirt and soil and I do not believe they read my meter. Again they advised they read the meter in January when they issued me with the last bill, however again on looking the meter is covered in dirt. They have not read it at all.0

Like i have mentioned before, the meter can be dirty and can still be read if you know what you are doing, even if the digits have been cleared they can soon get dirty again0 -
It could also be a radio read meter..There are more and more of those springing up and they can be read without looking at the dials at all.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

Yes they are being fitted on newbuilds round here now0 -
Round this way many old meters are being replaced with radio reads at the 10 year stage as STW are working through a 10 year replacement plan.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
