I have had sky for 12 months and put in a cancellation request, my question is when do I become a new customer again as they seem to have all the good deals?

The real question is does it matter? if you have left and are willing to go back you can only ring and politely ask if they will match Virgin or give you the same deal as new customers. Did they not offer anything when you cancelled?0 -
It is 12 months as dave said above. I cancelled and 2 months later got a half price for 12 months offer through the post so don't be too quick to go back if you start missing them.

Imo, you're expecting too much. I doubt they will change the offered deal from 6 months to 12 months. :undecided Wish you luck though.

They also keep a record of the discounts you've had applied to your account, and they very seldom offer an identical deal unless their desperate to make up the numbers.0

Does anyone have any advice on the following: I am moving into a brand new flat which has been hooked up for Sky. Unfortunately, as it is on the Poplar exchange (East London), it means that I am not able to get Sky's regular phone and broadband add ons, so unfortunately (unless anyone knows better), they will not be an option. Therefore, what is the best deal I can currently get for Sky+ (the TV package only)? It appears that all the good cash-back deals ended a week ago. Also, because I kept Sky on at a previous address (for the benefit of my mother, who has now moved on as well), it might be that I would not be treated as a new customer (that subscription was terminated 3 months ago). I have also missed out on the latest returning customer deal of half price for 12 months (and it wouldn't have worked in my case because my mother sold the Sky+HD box). I'm hoping the main topic will be updated again soon. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.0
