The man who accused me of assault said that i kicked him four times to the face.

    Thats seriously not good.
But i am now worried with what the memorandum of conviction will state? Do they state what was accused of us or do they state our statements as well?

Its states the details you admitted to. You can go to court, plead guilty to say "assault", and end up on sentencing with a huge load of stuff being read out by the magistrate that you never knew about (example "hit Mr X with a hammer"). Thats the stuff thats on the MOC.

If the MOC is bad, don't take it. Never lie, but NEVER offer.

Utter piffle. Nowhere in the data protection act does it prevent data sharing in this respect, it even allows it. Read the bloody thing if you don't beleive me. First sentence is also wrong. You need the word "direct" in there.

Unfortunately the only option for you, as you have been trapped by the wording on ESTA. You may get passed to secondary on arrival, you may not.
You believe what you want, I know what I am talking about, (maybe got a little carried away with the DPA comment) my BIL works for the U.S. immigration service.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Hi
Just got it back today it doesnt say anything of the kind. All it says is the facts which were my details, what court we attended and that i was charged with assault on an accredited person and how much my fine was.
So now i am thinking i wont even have to tell them the parts of which he accused me of. They would never know any of that anyway as all the info on these certificates that they require are just the facts - not the in's and out's and who said what etc.

Thats a weight off my mind!

It might have helped if you had read the whole post. ;)
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

well, all I can say is, they are not very good with their sieve! Something like one third of men have some sort of minor criminal conviction - as I said before, the planes would be half empty if everyone declared. Expect there might be a bit more honesty around if you could exclude spent convictions but you cannot and going to the Embassy and being interviewd is something most people woould give anything not to do.
