That was my concern, if the unit was returned after the repair, and the seal was not microsofts, they would have refused to look at it.

But now I know, thanks its reassuring.

You could have just sent it back direct to Microsoft yourself if you were concerned about Argos sending it away for repair.

Ah but my guess is that this was covered in some way shape or form with Argos, correct me if i am wrong ofcourse.

They will be covered with Argos, but you will also be covered with the manufacturers warranty.

Sometimes it is quicker and easier to deal with the manufacturer direct.

you should send direct to microsoft next time. each time ive had my 360 repaired (4 times) ive recieved a gift to say sorry for any inconvinience (3x months free live and the final one was a new wireless controller)
