Insuring Van as second vehicle for SDP only

Having real trouble:( finding a reasonable quote for my second vehicle a small astra van which i use at weekends for fishing gear and the dog only and not for work purposes !! Got full comp last year for £315 and now almost douibled with a years NCD also:mad: !!

Have full no claims on my main vehicle and have been driving trouble free for 25+ years...Anyone got any good reccommendations? Thanks

check online and fill it in with 0 no claims, some companies give you a better quote

When we had a transit van for SDP only we found Commercial Vehicle Direct ok.

Best bet is a broker, I went through Auto net they seemed quite cheap

Try Admiral, we insured one tpft just for social use, when you get quotes from van insurance agents you will get pestered forever on the internet...always found them very expensive

Admiral only cover private cars.. unless they changed their rules as of November 2010 when i left

Gladiator which is part of admiral do but the general admiral.com policy is for private cars only.
