Shame it aint summer. We could rally around some MSE DFW and maybe some students with nothing better to do and protest outside MBNA's Chester HQ to stop them bullying their customers who find themselves in debt.Or did anyone one here used to work for MBNA or still does and has access to the chairmans direct line. We could all vow to phone him at least 20 times a day asking what he is going to do to stop his company harrassing people. And when he takes the phone off the hook!!!! Well maybe some one has his mobile and we can text him constantly saying we need to talk urgently.:rotfl:0

I don't know if this would help but when they phone you up and they initially want to take you through security why not play them at their own game.
Tell them that unless they can answer your security question you aren't prepared to answer theirs as you are frightened of identity theft. This usually puts them into a panic as they are in a catch 22 - they won't answer your question before you answer theirs (if you see what I mean!)
You can tell them that you will phone MBNA to find out what they want to speak to you about and put the phone down .......and of course you don't have to phone them!
I've done this and it works a treat at confusing them as their script is thrown out of the window!!!2014 Target;

Yeah I must admit that indian call centre workers are only trained in certain senarios. If you throw them out of them they get confused and just go silent for a while. I must say I feel very sorry for them. These big companies are relocating thier call centres to there country and promising them all sorts, when in reality the are just phoning up people who get frustrated with them and end up shouting at them or putting the phone down. Not quiet the dream job they were promised me thinks..0 -
None of my phone calls have been from India - not from MBNA anyway!0

all of mine have been from an indian call centre apart from the lady i spoke to on monday and the gentleman today, i was quite shicked to say the least.
if i was at home i would try an put them off their script but in work i just want to get off the phone an run away as quickly as possible.Married my amazing hubby on 8th September 2012 :j:j0 -
Remember that I sent a letter to MBNA regarding those nuisance calls? Mine were up to 24 per day too.
They replied to my letter today - I sent mine out nearly five weeks ago - they are sorry that they are annoying, etc, but if I don't respond to their written letters with a payment of their choosing, then they will resume the phone calls!
I have already reported them, for all the good it will do !
My wonderful lady whom is sorting me out will have got in touch with all my creditors by now. Today's letters were dated 18/11.
I think we should start a petition against these Companies and really do something to damage them. Having said that, they are doing enough to damage themselves, aren't they!0
