BT Broadband Fair Use Policy

Hi,

Is a 100GB a month enough for streaming movies, Browsing and Gaming online? Is there anything out there that would count it all up for me and let me know what i would use in a month?

Would it also help if i downloaded outside peak times?

The only thing you can do is use it for a month and see for yourself, you would be surprised how quickly you can burn through download allowance if you do actually download things lol, I had a bit of a boring January so downloaded all 6 seasons of The Sopranos to watch whilst doing other things such as normal surfing email a bit of tv streaming etc etc, I stemed through 90gig that month I dont have unlimited mine is capped at 40gig so get an extra 50 quid added to my bill for that month ouch

It isn't as much as you think if you use a lot of online gaming sites etc. My son plays a well known online game a lot and watches movies etc and we are often getting our broadband restricted for going over the usage

Ok i found out with infinity option 2 and bt total bb option 3 that it is 300GB and they are now making it unlimited on the 1st april. :T

300 GB is plenty unless you're on the computer all day every day
