Was there any CCTV footage from the supermarket?
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

They openly admitted it was her fault.

I may invite them to jot it down on a piece of paper stating it was their fault.

And no, there are no cameras.

They openly admitted it was her fault.

Admissions of liability at the scene count for little if subsequently the story changes, and there are no witnesses.

Asking the third party to now give you this in writing could be seen as harassment.

And it is a condition of the policy that policyholders are not allowed to admit liability!

But definitely put it in your letter to the third party insurer (claiming your costs) that their insured agreed they were at fault!

Apparently she has since admitted it to be her fault to her own Ins co. See what happens...

She's going through insurance because a friend or family member has told her you might rip her off with over inflated costs...... I've been there and witnessed that conversation in the past.

    Hmmm.

She decides to go through her own insurance suddenly for the sake of a £250 bill?

Can you say......... w-w-wh-whiplash? I can smell those lawyers papers on their way to you now, harvey.

LOL! I got some quotes for her - one from a garage I know and one from her friend who said he coulkd do it for "loads less" without seeing my car. Anyway, it turned out he could only do it for 50 quid less and that was a repair to HALF the bumper - to which I said I wasnt prepared to accept, as if it isnt upto standard then she'll be paying you again to do it. And again and again until I'm happy with the job lol.

I've contacted her Ins and she has admitted it was her fault to them, so I'm just gonna claiom off her ins. i'll point out that I need a large hire car and that the eggs I'd just bought from the shopo got smashed in the boot lol
