Yes, it will be more crappy cheap furniture, at excessive prices, pretending to be a good deal.

I sincerely hope you get some sensible answers soon, but can't resist adding a few of my own. How about...

Delivery on time (in the absence of a firm date, to the nearest month will do)
All items present on the consignment (that'll be the day!)
8 dowels for every 8 holes
Customer service from a sales advisor that gives a damn
Goods neatly and securely stowed on the contract delivery vehicle (as opposed to "automatic delivery" onto the street when shutter door raised)
Delivery drivers who point blank refuse to call you mate/bud/buddy/pal/boss (like they've known you for years) when bidding farewell after the drop.

One thing they absolutely guarantee - as the vehicle pulls up, the drivers mate will be 16 years old, have both feet on the dashboard, and will be reading a 2-week old Daily Sport.

Do you mean that MFI is not having a sale?

    This would be a shocker.
You cant take the trousers off an elephant!
  • You're all starting to worry me now - we just bought 2 leather couches from MFI with an expected delivery date of 4 - 6 weeks. Guessing I shouldn't hold my breath then??

I did ask someone in store today when their next sale would be and he said they've usually got similar sales running every few weeks so it won't be long - he didn't know what the best offers would be though.

Never had a problem with MFI..
I dont think you know what you are on about.
    Great sevice great products.
    One very happy customer..
  • We ordered about a week ago, took the rest of the money in there a couple of days ago and we've been given a delivery date of the 14th of March. No complaints so far!!
  • I haven't had any complaints with them myself.

It all depends what it is you are after, I have bought an office desk and accessories and they are fine, and my sister a kitchen, which was excellent.

It is on a par with Ikea and when getting that type of furniture I don't think you can expect service and quality that is more than what they charge for!
