This could be the answer to the varying postage charges:

Business Products – Next Day Delivery

Business products are located in the following categories: First Class, Second Class, Special Delivery and Other Stamps and can be easily identified by the ‘delivered next day’ message in the product status bar.

Business products are despatched via Special Delivery. If we receive your order before 5pm, these items will be sent out the same day and will arrive at their destination by 1pm, the following working day.

Products purchased in these categories carry a standard delivery charge of £4.10, however, if more than £35.00 worth of business products are ordered, then delivery is free of charge.

Now that the Queen is getting on a bit,if she was to 'pop her royal clogs',what would happen to all the surplus stamps we have, would the royal mail part exchange them for the next monarch ,or would you be able to use them up ,or would they just be void?

    You'd use them as usual.

I'd be more concerned about the arrangements for the planned acquisition of Royal Mail by a private company, though. You'd have to assume that the usage of stamps already issued would be covered in any agreement, but politicians are daft enough to overlook it.

Sorry, didn't know the delivery charges had changed, it was free when I previously ordered from them and this time I had 100 x 2nd class & 100 x 5p stamps in my basket, so free again!

I guess as a minimum you could add 100 x 1p stamps & 100 x 2p stamps if you need to spend an extra £3 to qualify for free delivery.

Please don't apologise - I had no idea they did any free delivery at all until I saw your original post. £4.10 did seem a bit steep! :)

Hi Just to make people aware the superdrug 5% off is a con and you end up paying more than the normal cost at the post office because the stamps are in a book! shrewdal
