Virgin techncian broke my connection

Hi All
Not sure if this is the right place but on the 25th of Feb, some Virgin installers were putting some new cables down the road for one of my neighbours. In the process, they managed to destroy the cable connecting to my place and I have had no services (I have internet, tv and phone with them) ever since. They have had two technicians come over and haven't done anything but say...yeah its the cable outside, which I told them about when I first called. They are scheduled to fix the cable on the 17th of March.
So I am wondering what type of compensation I should aim for, any ideas?

You should 'aim' for a months free service as it has been three weeks without service.
What else do you think you should be compensated for - have you had any monetary loss from the problem?0 -
I agree.
When it is eventually fixed, ask them if they are still going to bill you for the period you were without service. They should say no, and with any luck will credit your account with a little more (like a full month's service) as a goodwill gesture.
If they say they can't do anything, then you escalate the issue and aim a bit higher!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. A Service Tech has to go out to see if a repull is needed or the cable can be repaired. If it does need replacing then he has to book a two man repull crew to do the job.
One man crew's & is Service Tech's do NOT carry the equipment required to do a cable repull &,due to H&S regs as well as other factors they are prevented from doing so anyway.
As for compensation, you'll get credited for the day's you were without service & nothing more.0
