What you need to ensure is that your insirers do not start paying out for things but rather that the other party's does. If you claim on yours and then they have to reclaim on theirs it all gets messy. You can claim directly on their insurance and as they hit you up the backside, they are just going to have to lump it and pay.0

My insurance was unaffected and the quotes I found elsewhere to compare were unaffected. I thought the same, that it would be affected but I have first hand experience and can vouch for it not affecting it. My claim was through the other party's insurance company and my insurance company just checked they paid for everything.erm.. I would not be so sure, e.g:

Some insurers will load some insurees with a higher renewal quote, based on general stats that if accidents happen, more accidents may happen (whichever way the blame goes). That's the cause and the logic of the real life Honest John example.0
