    3 things:

    1. £15 voucher is sent as an e-certificate; in which case, it shoud land in your inbox or possibly junk mail folder.

    2. £15 voucher is sent as a paper certificate; in which case, lovefilm send you an email stating that the voucher has been dispatched. it usually arrives 3-5 days later.

    3. you'll get nowt

let's hope it's one of the first two.

p.s. 1. and 2. can take anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 and a half weeks from start of trial.

i emailed them yesterday and they advised that it takes upto to 30days and the voucher gets sent in the post! strange in this day and age as amazon is online, thought it would be via email.

I signed up in late Jan and got the £17 from Topcashback confirmed a few weeks later. I registered with a £20 Boots voucher code. I had to email them several times as the voucher hadn't arrived a month after my first payment was taken. In the end, I received the voucher in the post but I had to instigate the process. So, if anybody is still waiting 3-4 weeks after the first payment, email them.

On my second payment now, the service is great and despite receiving £17 cashback and the £20 voucher, I think I'll stick with them.

does anyone know how late you have to wait at night so you can just cancel online vs having to call them? i really dislike how nosey they are about why you cancel and they can be pushy too which i'd prefer to avoid. i've always cancelled online in the past but even now at 22:15 on a saturday they're still giving me that message.. have they made it so you can ONLY cancel by phone?

most of the times i have done by phone; only once i cancelled online, but that was 2 years ago. perhaps it is only by phone now?

they are pushy, but by saying 'my dvd player is broken', they'll get the message! ;)

i've always said that and i never have questions being asked. the fact you can't afford a new dvd player is a good extra line to add (i.e. if i can't afford a new dvd player, then i'm probably not going to be able to afford a lovefilm subscription).
