Thanks Op. Signed up for lovefilm yesterday. Can't wait for the dvds - Toy story 3's on its way - no doubt that'll get seen enough times! Amazon gift voucher is a fantastic bonus.

I signed up last night, through TCB. It was the free 30 day trial and £7.50 CB + £10 NEXT voucher. Thought that was pretty good too! :D As mentioned before, I had to add 10 titles to my list, and wait until at least one has been despatched before I can cancel, we already use Tesco film rental!

Actually, you have to wait until you receive your first DVD, and then return it and make sure that they have received it back in their stock before you can cancel, otherwise you'll just be charged for the DVD not received.

i've never done it that way. i always thought if you send the disc and wait 'til they receive it, then you run the risk of the next one being sent out (and then possibly going over the free trial period).

i've done the trial a few times over the past few years. i ring up to say i want to cancel, they mark that on my account, i send the last dvd(s) and get proof of posting. then i get a cancellation email about 2 days after. i always give myself a 7 day cushion before my 1st payment is due.

Really? I've only ever done it once, and was told specifically that I had to return the DVD first before I cancel and that if I cancelled first, and they received the DVD after I cancelled (even if it was before trial period end date) that they'd still charge me. I know quite a lot of people who had to wait until they received the DVD aswell to be on the safe side, so not sure really.

doesn't matter i guess, as long as you don't get charged then that's all that matters!
