Assuming you want to edit the PDF, then there are two quick and dirty methods
Method 1
If the PDF is mainly text with no diagrams:
In Word (2003) select insert file ensure files of type is all files then navigate to your PDF and OK.
Now re-format.
Or cut and paste a page at a time from PDF to word.
Sadly this doesn't work too well with tables.
Method 2
Google PDF to word.
Download and use a free trial of the hundreds of programs to choose from.
When the free trial runs out go to the next one.

Sorry top be a pain, I have managed to get it converted but having a problem in that there are scenic photos in the file, i cannot take these out on their own, it would mean taking out a lot of info on the page, can i get around this?0

The web site www.pdftoword.com allows you to convert PDF files to Word for free0

Don't know if you can 'CUT & paste' to Word from a PDF, but certainly, with Adobe Reader 8 onwards you can 'copy & paste' to Word.
Not tried it with graphics and tables though. Perhaps replace those with Word as you go? i.e. create the table with Word, and copy & paste cell contents from the PDF?
Graphics? Suck it and see.
Update:
No.....table didn't copy & paste, just the text, so create the table in Word, and copy paste cell contents. Probably only works with text.0 -
Knocking around somewhere on Google there is a "PDF Converter Elite" - downloaded it a while ago and works a treat. It is free, not sure if it is just a trial or freeware. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

How did you manage to copy and paste from a PDF document? - I'm couldn't get it done at all. I was just trying to copy a plain letter from pdf to a word document but it wouldn't 'work!'0 -
I think some pdf's might be protected0
