YouGov deducting points when you take surveys

I noticed this on my YouGov account also.
When you receive a survey invitation that does not attract points but gives entries to the prize draw eg the "Oracle" surveys, they are now awarding 50 points and then reclaiming them. (I think this is what is happening anyway.)
I've no idea why they have decided to do this - it's just more confusing and more difficult to keep track of points.
Maybe we should all email them to say we don't like this new system.0 -

Just looked at my account & noticed 2 deductions of 50 points for the Prize Draw surveys
Sneaky gits. I was not given any option to opt out either. Just won't bother doing the prize draw surveys in future

Just so you know, The surveys where they take 50 points away are prize draw surveys! They credit you 50 points then take them away.
ORA1103_Feb_March 50 (prize draw credit)
23/04/2011 YouGov monthly prize draw -50
(prize draw debit)
If you dont like it dont do it, Yougov is NOT a scam i have been with them years and i am very happy.0 -
This has happened to me too. I always click "No Thanks" when asked if I want to use points for the prize draw but my account now states that a total of 250 points have been redeemed for prrize draw entries. I'm getting close to 5000 points - I wonder if that's connected!!0
