    Hi

I know, I would love the mincer and sausage maker and the juicer, but trying to remain controlled!! Perhaps something for birthdays and christmas.

    Thanks again

  • A great piece of kitchen equipment - I woulden't be without mine - I bought mine 10 years ago for £30 through local small ads - if it broke down tomorrow I'd go and replace it with the best I could afford.

Have just won a kenwood, no accessories (701 or 901 i think - cream with light blue bits:confused: ) on ebay for £30.Having read this thread I am now thinking that I LOVE the patissier - have I made a mistake?

Thanks toxic lemon - I think you are right - I'm picking it up at the weekend - I was just seduced by the attractiveness of the patissier. ;)

Thanks - for that, picked it up today and have just won some attachments on ebay - so hoping to try it out next weekend. I'm scarily excited - how sad?

    ;)
  • I recently bought an a701a with pale blue trims that wasn't working properly for
£7! It included a mincer, k beater and whisk but no bowl or dough hook. I
thought it was worth buying to see how much it'd cost to be fixed. Anyhow, turns
out it needs something doing to the gearbox which will cost £45 and I still need
to buy a bowl which I assume I will get on eBay for around £10 so I will have
spent £62. I am concerned that the capacitors and resistor and brushes may need
replacing in the future which will cost more money. But I LOVE the look and
colour of it!!! I was looking around on eBay and got giddy and bought an a901e
which has had the caps and resistors replaced and I have read that these are
better in that they can take new attachments and are semi electronic. So now I
don't know whether to get the a701a repaired as I love the way it looks so much
or sell it unfixed for spares :(. Any opinions would be greatly welcomed!!!!
  • Hi, just a quick heads up - Ideal World have the Krnwood KMC570 for £249.99 for today only and its on flexipay......I would be tempted but I've just ordered a reconditioned 707a.
