Hi again, I ended up spending £10.45 at the local shop. I needed milk, tea bags, bread rolls and a few other things. No local Asda or anything, nearby. But I usually do go to Mr T's for the big shop x0

here he is
very handsome too!!
there are loads of newts down my allotment and they always remind me of geckos (if you don't mind my saying so). They are tiny and very pretty, very delicate little feet. In fact Gollum would probably have them for breakfast given half a chance!!0 -

gosh! everyone's got a lizard for a pet. Maximus sounds sweet. Are bearded dragons quite large? .... I've got two parrots, anyway, two pet cockatiels. They're lovely. might dig out a pic of them sometime0 -

i went to asda as i had a few bits to pick up, but realised i was out of sugar/milk/hot chocolate/soy sauce and heaps of other longer term stuff. ended up spending £12.46, my biggest single food shop in ages! i fear my dfw skills are sliding...
hi lyndsayjane, I know we're all trying to keep to a tight budget and I know I'm probably not as disciplined as other people on this thread, but it does seem to me that if you were out of storecupboard essentials like soy sauce/milk/sugar etc then £12.46 isn't really that awful, and you haven't "been bad", and your dfw skills are clearly not sliding or you wouldn't be worrying about it ... anyway, that's wot I think0 -
I'll shut up now0

Not spent a bean - hooray!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
