What - you mean give him £10, send him to the pub and have a nice Indian takeaway waiting for when he gets home? Great to see that romance is not dead!

I'm not sure yet. My OH suprised me this morning with a gorgeous diamond ring for our anniversary, and it's utterly beautiful... but i've only got him a card (which is what we'd agreed to do this time around). I know he paid cash and didn't credit it, which is excellent, but I have no idea what to get him. Was going to cook a gorgeous dinner, and got some steak on the way home last night, but no idea how to make it extra special for him (we're always running baths for eachother and lighting candles). No idea what I can make for a starter. Only have £10 in the bank for the rest of the month. help!

So, yes, probably £10 on treating my lovely man rotten. Presuming hospital doesn't give me new prescirption, else i'll have to pay for that :(

    Beautiful ring though.:D

    Awww bless him!

Don't go stressing yourself out about spending what you haven't got. Make that special dinner and show him you love him. Material things don't have to be reciprocated with more material things.

    Have a lovely evening!

Hi Moozie....thought I'd best find this thread I had to stand in the corner for not knowing about!! :o:D

Bobbadog - how fab for you & congrats!! As already said by newmum and LA - just spoil him rotten and make him feel totally loved and everything - that will mean much more than any money you could spend on him!

I'm off into town (walking) to spend two £5 Ruby & Millie vouchers (freebies from Boots) and pay in some cheques from my ebaying. Hopefully that'll be it on the spend front for me today unless I get lured into Mr T's.......

    Hi Moozie,

More than I should have, and less than I'd like to :D

That could be my answer to this thread every day :)

Honestly though, £1.67 for a couple of stamps, and a recorded delivery to send my licence through for the job I'm going for cos I forgot to give it to them in the interview - DOH!

Also £1.45 for a get well soon card for my father in law and <blush> 27p for a Toffee Crisp - but Mmmmmmm, it tasted good :)

That's it for today. Well done on the diamond ring Bobbadog, what a lovely oh. Not sure what you can do for a tenner other than pamper him rotten at home - the only suggestions I can think of aren't really suitable for a family site ;)

    Hi all,

Bobbadog, what a lovely surprise! Hope you have a great time tonight....

I have spent 75p on my lunch today- just some soup (no bread left so saved 25p). Going to see OH tonight, I haven't seen him for 10 days and am missing him like crazy, so might pick up a bottle of wine on the way round, that will be £5.
    Saving for an early retirement!
